We’ve come to the end of the 2023 season with a whimper and some sadness – it was a year of little snow and warm weather. I hope most of you got enough snow for at least a little bit of your preferred winter activity.
A few updates and announcements:
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2023 – Monday 4/12/2023 at 6:30PM
Various formats have been trialled to attract attendance over last few years without much success. This year we will try an online forum on a Monday night.

FEES
Member fees have not increased for over 5 years. The Committee have made the decision to increase new member fees by $1000 from $1000 to $1100 plus GST.
Yearly subscriptions will remain unchanged for 2024.
Accommodation fees will be determined by the incoming 2024 committee.
RUBBISH REMOVAL
Winter removal has ceased – guests are required to take their rubbish with them until the start of the 2024 winter season. Rubbish can be deposited at the waster bins in Perisher.
NATIVE MARSUPIALS
At least one (and likely more) native marsupials have made their home at Gunuma and enjoy it as much as we do. We are unlikely to obtain approval for pest exterminator, so guests are requested to ensure the following to keep them outside as much as possible:
- please keep the keep lodge clean – no food scraps
- Please set traps, but they must be removed when guests leave and the lodge is empty
