You could be forgiven for thinking it is still winter up at Gunuma, with another dump of fresh snow on the ground again.
AGM: RSVP Reminder
The Gunuma AGM will be held on Sunday the 4th of December at 3:30 pm (AEDT), and members can attend in person or by Zoom. If you would like to attend either virtually or in person and have not yet RSVP’d please do so by 28 November so Rachel can email the Zoom link and the 2022 reports and financial statement.
RSVP to the Secretary via email secretary@gunumalodge.com.au, and please include:
- Name
- Member Number
- Email Address
- Attendance in person or via Zoom
For those attending in person the AGM it will be held at YWCA, 71 Northbourne Avenue Canberra.
The meeting room is on Level 3.
A number of committee positions are currently vacant for 2023 and have had no nominations. If you are interested in helping out by joining the committee next year you may nominate at the AGM. The vacant committee positions are:
- Secretary
- Capital Works Manager
- Maintenance Manager
- Logistics Manager
- Communications Manager
November Work Party
Thanks to those who attended the end of season work party for getting the lodge ready for the summer season.
Summer Lodge Arrangements
The waste collection service only runs during the ski season. Members and guests are responsible for disposing of all rubbish and recycling at the Smiggins waste transfer station – please do not leave any rubbish in the lodge or in the outdoor rubbish hopper.
If you are attending the lodge with guests please ensure you pass on the booking reminder email to your guests and inform them of what they will need to bring and their responsibilities while staying at the lodge.
